Continuano, intanto, a crescere le adesioni delle associazioni a questa giornata di confronto e approfondimento delle tematiche all'attenzione del comparto, con l'obiettivo di stabilire un percorso comune, che individui un programma che focalizzi problemi e proposte sulle politiche di settore, da supportare adeguatamente sul versante organizzativo, per rendere maggiormente efficace l'azione del nuovo soggetto che si accinge a nascere. He joined the band in the early 70s before the electronic sound was fully realised and left in 1987 having had enough of an increasingly 'robotic' life. After leaving the band, after making a charity record about the Balkan conflict the musical bug bit again and he has been producing music under the YAMO name ever since, as well as playing live drums for the band Dyko. His set-up is now completely different from anything that he used in Kraftwerk based around a laptop studio and several pieces of Edirol hardware. ............... "I use the R-09 portable recorder and the motion dive.tokyo video performance software and console. The R-09 is a perfect tool for me while performing my literature projects and when I give book readings during my YAMO Music and Literature Spectacle. I am also recording live events for a CD which I am planning. ........... Edirol's Motion Dive package is very good for me when performimg as a CJ (computer jaying) and VJ (video jaying). Instead of showing videos and films from a DVD player (which I've used up to now) I can mix my video clips spontaneously during the music presentation and can mix them with effects and script - wonderful! I don't know what my audience likes more - the music I'm playing or the videos and pictures! ............. I use Motion Dive and switch the movies and clips to fit to the music tracks. I have plenty to show from the old days, very rare Kraftwerk material from my time with the robots which lead over to films and snippets from the present, to my YAMO music activities and films . ........... In July I will be 60 years old, and now I'm playing with a band called Dyko and we play together as if we are a boy band! With the small weighted and small sized EDIROL and ROLAND equipment we can travel with one suitcase each of us. When I remember what we had to carry with us in Kraftwerk that is amazing! From my point of view the EDIROL tools I use are the best and not expensive. They are easy to learn and to handle. Simply great developments!. ..................... I am recording a new YAMO album with ten tracks, featuring the beautiful and high talented singer Miriam Suarez. I am travelling all over the world with my CJ/VJ program and drumming for Dyko. Elba Jazz Kids Orchestra: i più piccoli jazzisti d’Italia - (2008-06-12)Prova generale d’orchestra all’Auditorium Verdi di Milano L’associazione musicale milanese "E’ musica nuova" oggi, giovedì 12 giugno alle ore 16.00 all’Auditorium di Milano (Largo Mahler) a Milano ha organizzato la prova generale della Elba Jazz Kids Orchestra, la prima orchestra Jazz di bambini in italia, composta da 45 piccoli musicisti di età compresa tra i 6 e 13 anni. L’ensemble ha appreso nel corso dell’anno scolastico un repertorio originale composto dal Maestro Antonio Eros Negri, che ha rivisitato vari classici del jazz adattandoli alle capacità tecniche di giovanissimi, oltre a produrre pariture originali. Lo stesso repertorio che verrà suonato durante il concerto inaugurale della nuova orchestra, in programma il prossimo 4 e 5 settembre a Marciana Marina (Isola d’Elba) all’interno di Elba Jazz festival. Partner dell'iniziativa è la OSJ (Orchestra Sinfonica Junior) progetto del Maestro Ruben Jais, organico legato all’Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano "G.Verdi" . Successivamente l’organico sarà pronto per diverse tappe nei teatri del nord-Italia.
