Through its intuitive and innovative user interface, the new Promega2 brings you the power and flexibility of GEM's DRAKE technology, as already featured in the Promega3.Technology
GEM's DRAKE (Dsp-Risc-Advanced-Keyboard-Engine) technology, already featured in the Promega3. Thanks to DRAKE, one of the most advanced dedicated musical DSPs in the world, GEM has been able to implement complex sound generation algorithms in this instrument like the real-time manipulation of physical models.Control
The Promega2 has the same innovative user interface as the Promega3. Thus the Promega2's vast array of dedicated controls: 4 faders, 5 virtual pots, 6 separate LCD displays and 4 EQ-bars , offering instant access and total control over every feature.Realtime physical modelling
The Promega2 offers 3 completely independent sound generating sections: pianos, vintage keys and bass/orchestra, for a total of 45 sounds with 160 voices of polyphony. The PCM sound database (64MB) contains a number of realistic acoustic piano samples including the Fazioli F308, while the real-time physical modeling system reproduces classic electro mechanical instruments like Rhodes, Wurlitzer and Clavinet .Physical models and effects
All of the acoustic piano sounds incorporate GEM's patented physical modeling algorithms like damper physical model, natural string resonance, advanced release technology and FADE (Filter Algorithm Dynamic Emulation). Plus, the sound of each section can be further enhanced with the internal DSP effects, offering 15 different reverbs and 15 different Pro-FX; all completely programmable and with independent sends from each section. At the final output stage is a programmable 4-band digital EQ, allowing you to tailor the overall sound of the Promega2 to suit your personal taste.Presets and Master functions
With the Promega2 you can program up to 64 presets which allow you to instantly recall any combination of sounds, levels, effect and control settings, while the pitch and modulation wheels offer an impressive array of MIDI control functions, making the Promega2 an efficient MIDI controller keyboard too.Connections
The Promega2 offers both balanced and unbalanced audio connections for optimum flexibility in any performance environment, live or studio.
