The all-in-one USB Audio Interface UA-700 is based on the same engine as the UA-5 and has many of the same features.
Furthermore, inbuilt digital COSM modeling technology has been added in order to simulate guitar amplifiers, microphones and effects.
(COSM Composite Object Sound Modelling is a technology which combines multiple sound modules to create new sounds, which was first used on the Roland's VG-8 V-Guitar System). Just connect the mic to the unit and choose which mic type to emulate. With the presets for compression and a de-esser you have a complete Channel Strip for instant vocal recording. If you wish to use the UA-700 with a guitar you can choose from many amps simulations with delay, tremolo, flanger, phaser and compressor. You can tweak 11 guitar-amp sounds to produce almost any guitar sound in history.

The sound is delivered via a single USB cable to the computer.

The UA-700 also features a 3-band equalizer (high/middle/low), noise gate, reverb and chorus.

The connections : two combo XLR/TRS ins with 48 v phantom power for condensor microphones, a dedicated guitar input, MIDI IN/OUT, stereo RCA (suitable for record players) and Jack Line input & output, optical and coaxial S/P DIF in & out.

A dedicated knob is assigned to every function, for fast and intuitive operation in any environment and in particular, the 8 user patches are very useful when used standalone and onstage.

The Direct Monitoring function allows zero-latency performance while recording/overdubbing.

The UA-700 is compatible with all the major audio production software for PC and Mac. It can be used with ASIO 2.0, WDM and Apple's Sound Manager.

L'interfaccia USB Audio UA-700 è basata sullo stesso progetto della UA-5, con la quale condivide la maggior parte delle caratteristiche.
In piu' e' stata integrata la tencnologia digitale COSM dedicata alla simulazione di amplificatori per chitarra, microfoni ed effetti.
