Gianfranco Bortolotti is Media Records genial founder and the "innovating spirit" that leads his Record Label to face every day new important challenges! Gianfranco Bortolotti's history began in 1987, when he imported House Music to Italy, and with this idea he reached popularity and credibility. From that moment his career has been full of success: new kinds of music such Techno, then called Media Sound; Mediterranean Progressive, and Supertechno, were launched by Gianfranco Bortolotti; and for this reason his one of the 10 most important discographic producers in Europe.
He had fait in his dee jays'quality, such Gigi D'Agostino, Mauro Picotto, Mario Più, Joy Kitikonti, before they would become the undiscussed protagonists of Enterteinement industry.
With his intuitions, Gianfranco Bortolotti was also Fabio Volo's talent maker and Valentino Rossi's talent scout.
Gianfranco Bortolotti produced famous shows like the "Maximal", in BXR studios for Radio Italia Network ; "Essential Selection" for BBC 1, recorded in Media Records'Uk studios; recently "Il Programmino di Gigi D'Agostino", an important show on air on Radio Italia Network and born in Media Records Italy studios.
Gianfranco Bortolotti's double soul, that marks him as indiscussed producer and able entrepreneur, induces him to be ahead of times, searching for ideas and new businesses. Recently he has developed a global editorial and multimedial project called Musicgel, Musicgel consist of a web site and a radio with its own magazine.
Before he constituted a society, in the multimedial field, called Impulse, and, in the video field, H&G.
Gianfranco Bortolotti's name is also linked to Media Songs, Media Records copywrights society, and to GlobalNet, an indipendent industry that is concerned with records distribution. In these years he has promoted the creation of a real "World of Media", signed Gianfranco Bortolotti.

Media Records was born in 1987 in Italy, in Brescia. It was born from Gianfranco Bortolotti's creative genius and entrepeneurial quality. Soon it was very successful as an Indepent Record Label in the international musical field, with the creation of business partners in UK, Spain, Germany, Benelux, and Denmark, up to constitute the Media Records International society. Recently Media Records has carried itself towards new boundaries: during 2003, in Spring, infact, Media Records went to New York; its mission is to manage its discographic repertoire in the most important (richest) market in the world: the USA market! During these years Media Records has always foreseen new trends; has always imposed new kinds of music; has always created original sounds. First of all, Gianfranco Bortolotti, believed faithfully in his djs: Gigi D'Agostino, Mario Più, Joy Kitikonti are only some examples....Media Records has won more than 100 gold and platinum awards, working with them, and has been called "Djs' Record Label". Media Records is the only one Record Label in Italy that has its recording studios; it's in the van of musical equipment. Media Records has developed worldwide successful labels: BXR, the most innovative and important Techno label; Noisemaker, Gigi D'Agostino's productions label; and UMM, the House Music label, are only some of them. Also Media Records Comunication and Promotion activities are precursive and vangardistic: Media Records founded Mp3 promotional system, sending Mp3 and streaming to radios, press, tv and web, on the overall Italian territory. In this way Media Records has developed Integrate Communication. It has captured not only the attention of musical journalists: important architecture magazines have made an article on the original design, that distuinguishes its offices and its recording studios; travel magazines have written about its Dj's tours.
